Who I Am
Hi, I'm Elisa Love, founder of Hourglass Strategy.
I started this business for people like us. Leaders, doers, and creatives who care deeply about their work but don't always have the time, clarity, or capacity to move it forward the way it deserves.
I bring more than two decades of experience in marketing, outreach, and community relations, paired with a storyteller's eye and a strategist's mindset, and I am actively building my facilitation work to deepen that expertise. I'm a two-time Colorado Broadcasters Association Award of Excellence winner and a 2024/2025 Boettcher Foundation Doers & Difference Makers Fellow. My work has spanned media, sales, nonprofits, and local business advocacy, with recent roles at the Counseling & Education Center, KKCO/KJCT Television, and the Grand Junction Area Chamber of Commerce. I have also collaborated with Colorado Creative Industries on statewide arts and creative economy initiatives.
I'm currently expanding into organizational facilitation and strategic planning, helping teams get aligned, work through the hard stuff, and leave with a real path forward. Based in Western Colorado, I'm actively growing my facilitation and consulting work to serve nonprofits, leadership teams, and organizations across the state. It's some of the most meaningful work I do.
I also understand small business from the inside. My husband Kevin is one of the owners of Atlasta Solar Center, and over our years together I've seen firsthand the passion, grit, and determination it takes to build something lasting. That perspective shapes how I work, with care, creativity, and deep respect for what you've built.
When I'm not collaborating with clients, you'll probably find me working on stained glass projects, reading, exploring Colorado's creative communities, or spending time with Kevin and our dogs.
What I Do
I work with organizations, nonprofits, and business owners who are doing meaningful work but need help getting clear, getting aligned, or getting unstuck.
Sometimes that looks like facilitation. Leading a strategic planning session, guiding a team through a difficult conversation, or designing a workshop that gives people real tools to take back to their work.
Sometimes it looks like consulting. Helping you identify gaps in your marketing, outreach, or community relationships, and connecting you with the right people, resources, or partners to carry the work forward.
And sometimes it looks like both.
This is not a one-size-fits-all approach. It's grounded strategy, shaped by experience and a deep belief in thoughtful progress.
If you're ready to move forward with more clarity and confidence, let's talk.
